Semester 1 (Fall 2023)

We start each club time with a 7-minute warm-up sketch! A piece of paper is drawn out of a box and the object written on the paper is what we draw along with a technique or theme (silly, cross-hatching, etc.). Here are some of our warm-up sketches since October 23. You’ll see a “cube”, “toucan”, “chicken”, and “spider”so far. Sometimes our drawings keep evolving and we add more and more objects (like draculas, crocodiles, or rivers). It’s really fun to see what these artists create!
